Visto che il numero di bolidi che incontro è in crescita non perdo tempo e ve ne mostro un paio, oggi tocca alle baby auto. La rossa sembra vincere il confronto nettamente, ma non c’è mai da fidarsi di quel che si può trovare nelle componenti di un motore, ormai sappiamo bene che l’abito non fa il monaco…

Since the number of bolides that I shoot is increasing I won’t wait any longer and I show you a couple, today is baby cars’ time. The red one seems to win over the grey with no doubt, but you can never trust what is inside an engine, in fact we know that we don’t have to judge from appearance…

Oggi non c’è nulla di particolare che voglia raccontarvi, la domenica sta passando tra divano, pulizie, internet; non c’è neanche il sole per andare in piscina, anzi penso che fra un po’ pioverà.

Come tutti gli altri giorni senza novità quindi vi propongo un’automobile dal gusto discutibile, fotografata qualche tempo fa. In Malesia in giro si vedono parecchi gadget degli “All Blacks”, la nazionale neozelandese di rugby, che riportano la famosa foglia bianca. Potete chiaramente constatare come questo pilota tenti di tenere alto il nome dei suoi beniamini, sfrecciando per le strade con un’auto All Black. Speriamo che durante la guida questo signore non si senta su un campo da rugby e non provi a placcare i motorini…

Today there’s nothing particular that I want to tell you, the Sunday is passing by with sofa, cleaning, internet; there’s not even the sun to go to the swimming pool, in fact I think it’s going to rain soon.

As all the other days without news I post a “charmy” car, photographed some time ago. In Malaysia there are a lot of “All Blacks” gadgets around, with the typical white leaf. You can clearly see how this driver tries to keep the good name of his heroes high, whizzing in the streets with an All Black car. Let’s hope that he doesn’t feel on a rugby field during his rides and that he doesn’t try to tackle the motorbikes…

Oggi giornata di relax: mi sono messo in moto verso le dieci, fatto colazione ed un po’ di pulizie. Verso le undici piscina, a nuotare ed abbronzarmi per circa tre ore; appena sono risalito ha iniziato a piovere. Però prima ho fatto in tempo ad andare giù al distributore per un po’ di spesa, ed indovinate un po’: ho visto un’altra tamarrata unica. La vedete nella foto, peccato che sia riuscito a riprenderla solo da dietro, perché sul vetro anteriore recava una scritta alta circa trenta centimetri, “Outlaw” (fuorilegge).

Per il resto la giornata prosegue con un ritmo rilassante, e fra qualche ora Nina dovrebbe prendere l’aereo per tornare.

Today relax day: I warmed up at around ten AM, had breakfast and di some cleaning. At around eleven swimming pool, to swim and sunbath, about three hours long, and as soon as I went back it started to rain. Before I just had the time to go down to the gas station for some shopping, and guess: I saw a unique pimped one. You can see it in the picture, unfortunately I could take it from back only, but on the front glass it had a thirty centimetres high write, “Outlaw”.

Despite this the day proceeds quietly, and in few hours Nina should be taking off to come back.

Non sempre i tassisti sono concentrati di simpatia, anzi: addirittura quello di stamattina ha fatto finta di dimenticarsi darmi il resto, con la filosofia diffusa secondo la quale Americano/Europeo = soldi. Noto che il tassista influisce parecchio sull’avvio della giornata per quanto riguarda l’umore, scendere dal taxi con un sorriso è molto diverso da non vedere l’ora che finisca la corsa o addirittura avere da ridire con l’autista. Diamogli le scusanti del traffico, del lavoro duro, di quello che volete, ma molti mi dicono che in paesi molto più “difficili” di questo non ci sono problemi coi tassisti.

Comunque, come dopo essere scesi dal taxi, voltiamo pagina; oggi vi delizio con una chicca: una vettura che traspone nel mondo dei motori il detto “nella botte piccola c’è il vino buono”. Purtroppo l’ho immortalata solo da dietro, ma l’aspetto di questa piccoletta lascia immaginare una scuderia di stalloni nel motore, altro che cavalli… La cosa buffa è che spesso invece è più valido il detto “tutto fumo e niente arrosto”, visto che attaccare adesivi e gadget è molto più economico che non mettere le mani nel motore…

Taxi drivers are not always sympathy blends, indeed: actually today’s driver pretended to forget to give em my change, with the spread philosophy according to which American/European = money. I notice that the taxi driver is very influent on the beginning of a day, for what concerns the mood, leaving a cab smiling is very different than trembling for the ride to finish or even worse to complain to the driver. Let’s even give them the alibi of the bad traffic, the hard job, or whatever you want, but it’s been told me that in more “difficult” countries there are no problems at all with taxi drivers.

Anyway, as after leaving the cab, let’s turn this page; today I delight you with another babe: a car that transposes in the four wheels world the Italian saying “good wine is in the small barrel”. Unfortunately I could shoot it only from behind, but the aspect of this baby lets imagine a barn of stallions in the engine, not horses… The funny thing is that often, instead, the saying that best fits these cars is another: “All smoke but no roast”, since paste stickers and gadgets is much different than handle the engine…

E come promesso ieri ecco una “bambolina” come si deve, peccato che abbia dovuto immortalarla col cellulare. Non so se riuscite a vederlo, ma il disegno sulla fiancata è un cavaliere argentato con tanto di lancia, ce n’è uno per lato. L’auto è la stessa che avete visto in varie versioni nei post precedenti, ma questa è stata “vestita” davanti, per farle mordere l’asfalto con maggior furore.

And as I promised yesterday here is a real “baby”, unfortunately I had to shoot it with my mobile. I don’t know if you can see it, but the figure on the side is a silver knight with a spear, there’s one for each side. The car is the same you saw in various version in the previous posts, but this has been “dressed” on the front part, to make it burn the road with even more rage.
