Un’altra notizia che mi ero perso ieri è l’arresto dell’Uomo Ragno qui a Kuala Lumpur! Avete presente Alain Robert, quello che si avventura nella scalata degli edifici più alti? Ebbene, dopo essere stato arrestato nel 1997, ha deciso di riprovare la scalata delle Twin Towers a mani nude, senza protezioni. L’ormai 44enne (!) atleta francese voleva avventurarsi nella salita verso le otto di mattina, per evitare di essere visto, visto che gli uffici si popolano verso le nove, ma la pioggia gli ha rovinato il piano, e così è partito verso le tre del pomeriggio. In venti minuti ha fatto diciotto piani, si è riposato un po’ al ventesimo, ed è ripartito. La resa alle forze dell’ordine è avvenuta al sessantesimo piano, lo stesso che ha visto la fine dell’impresa dieci anni prima. Al momento dell’arresto amici e avvocati si sono precipitati in caserma per aiutarlo, ora rischia fino a un anno di carcere, o una multa, o entrambi. Le foto dello scalatore sono prese dal sito del quotidiano The Star e da un forum, dove un impiegato ha messo le foto fatte dall’interno della torre 2 col suo cellulare.

Tornando ai cani poliziotto di ieri, il giornale di oggi scrive che le bande coinvolte nel giro della pirateria hanno messo una taglia sulla testa dei due animali, che ora vengono spostati da una casa all’altra, ma non specificano di quanto. Vedremo.

Another news I missed yesterday is the arrest of Spiderman here in Kuala Lumpur! Do you know Alain Robert, the one trying to climb the tallest buildings in the world? Well, after being arrested in 1997, he decided to retry the Twin Towers Climb with his hands, no protections. The 44 years old (!) French athlete wanted to start the climb around 8 AM, when the offices are almost empty, but the morning rain ruined him the plan, so he started around 3 PM. In twenty minutes he reached the 18^th floor, and he took a rest at the 20^th. He surrendered to the police at the  60^th floor, the same where he was stopped the first time ten years ago. At the moment of the capture friends and lawyers of the man went to the police station to help, now he risks to get up to 1 year in jail, or a fine, or both. The pictures here are from the website of The Sun, and others from a forum, where an employed in the tower took pictures from the inside with his mobile.

Going back to the policedogs, the newspaper is saying that now the syndicates put a price no their heads, now they are moved from a house to another, but they did not specify how much. Let’s see.
