Ieri sera sono andato a trovare Roger, dopo settimane che tentavamo di metterci d’accordo. Ha un bell’appartamento, arredato in modo moderno, con dei divani molto comodi ed un proiettore al posto del televisore! Abbiamo trascorso così un paio d’ore rilassanti a chiacchierare del più e del meno, della Malesia e di casa nostra. Lui è titolare di un’agenzia di viaggi che si occupa del turismo nel Sud-est asiatico, ed il suo sito internet offre molte informazioni utili; così lo metto nella blogroll, in modo che se qualcuno di voi pensa di farsi un giro in zona può trovare aiuto.
Stasera, essendo S. Valentino, non poteva mancare la cena fuori. Così io e Nina andiamo al ristorante che c’è sopra a Santini, San Francisco Steack House. Lo so, non suona per niente romantico, però il menù per l’occasione sembrava invitante e ad un prezzo non esagerato, e così abbiamo colto l’occasione. E poi l’atmosfera romantica la si crea, non c’è problema.

Yesterday night I went to Roger’s place, after weeks drying to arrange. He has a nice apartment, modern style furnished, with very comfortable sofas and a projector instead of the TV! We spent a couple of relaxing hours chatting about anything, about Malaysia, about our homeplaces. He is the owner of a travel agency operating in the South-east Asia, and his website offers a lot of interesting information and solutions; I link it in the blogroll, so if anyone of you thinks to get a tour around here knows where to find some help.
Toda, being Valentine’s day, we couldn’t miss a date. So I will go with Nina to the restaurant upstairs Santini’s, San Francisco Steack House. I know, the name sounds everything but romantic, but the menu for the occasion looked inviting and not too expensive, so we took the chance. And furthermore the romantic atmosphere it’s to be created by us, no problem.
