Finalmente, dopo diverse settimane, è tornata la pioggia. Il caldo si era fatto veramente insopportabile, e ieri sera improvvisamente si è riversato sulla città un bell’acquazzone. La ragione è semplice: la Signora Myrna e Anabella, verso le sei di sera, mi dicono: “Ok Massimo noi andiamo al supermercato”. “Ok, ci vediamo più tardi, a me non serve niente, grazie”. Come spesso accade da queste parti, giusto il tempo di scendere ed uscire e il brodo è iniziato, così si sono arrese, rimandando. E finalmente la notte scorsa siamo riusciti a dormire bene anche senza ventilatore e condizionatore.
At last, after some dry weeks, rain is back. The hot was really accursed, and suddenly yesterday a very nice rainfall came onto the city. The reason is simple: at around 6 PM Mrs Myrna and Anabella tell me: “Ok Massimo, we go to the grocery”. “Ok, see you later, I don’t need anything, thanks”. As always happens around here, just the time to go down and exit and the broth started, so they quitted, delaying their mission. And finally last night we were able to sleep well even without aircon and fan.
