Prima di tutto buona Pasqua in ritardo. Qui non l’ho sentita proprio la Pasqua, perché tutto è diverso dall’Italia; intanto qui è come se non ci fosse, e poi il tempo, gli odori, tutto è diverso. Sarà anche per questo che mentre guardavo il Gran Premio mi sono mangiato più di due etti di mandorlato (!) che tenevo in frigo dallo scorso gennaio. Buonissimo, l’ho mangiato proprio volentieri più di due etti. Per la cena ho preparato l’agnello al forno con le patate, abbiamo bevuto il vino che Nina ha portato dall’Australia e poi lei ha preparato una torta alla cioccolata. Ovviamente oggi siamo a lavorare, niente Pasquetta, ma manca poco alle vacanze…

First of all belated Happy Easter to you all. Here I didn’t feel the Easter at all, because everything is so different compared to Italy: first of all here it is like Easter doesn’t exist, then smells, weather, everything is so different. Maybe that is the reason why I ate Mandorlato (an Italian Xmas sweet!) while watching the Formula 1, I was keeping that in the fridge since I came back from Italy. Delicious, I really enjoyed it, more than 200 g. For dinner I prepared roasted lamb with potatoes, we had the wine Nina brought from Adelaide and she also prepared a chocolate cake. Obviously today we had to go to work, no Holy Monday, but holiday is near…
