In questa settimana non c’è stato proprio niente di particolare che mi facesse venire voglia di scrivere. La cosa migliore che sia capitata è che al supermercato ho finalmente ritrovato i Savoiardi Vicenzi (prodotti esclusivamente nel paese che mi ha dato molti natali), dopo mesi che mancavano, ed ora allietano di nuovo le mie colazioni.

Ieri sera siamo usciti con Massimo (Gelatomio), Debbie (la sua ragazza), e poi abbiamo conosciuto Roberto e Mary, che abitano nel condominio di fianco al nostro. Siamo andati a giocare a biliardo, ma tutti i tavoli erano occupati. Vigeva la regola che per giocare bisogna sfidare chi occupa il tavolo, e se si vince si può giocare. Per fortuna, dopo una partita persa, delle persone hanno deciso di andarsene così abbiamo potuto giocare noi.

In questi giorni sta salendo la febbre della Formula 1, infatti in centro i diversi locali propongono in esposizione alcune delle vetture: alle Petronas Twin Towers ovviamente c’è la BMW, al Rum Jungle c’è la Ferrari e all’Aloha c’è la McLaren. Stasera se riesco recupero un po’ di foto.

A giorni inoltre dovremmo ultimare i preparativi per la nostra vacanza a Boracay, nelle Filippine, a cavallo del 1 Maggio; se siete già curiosi e non riuscite ad aspettare i fotoalbum cercate qualche immagine su Google, e ci odierete un po’…

During this finishing week there hasn’t been anything particular to make me write. The best thing that happened to me is the I finally found the Vicenzi’s Ladyfingers (exclusively produced in the town theatre of many of my Xmases) in the supermarket again, after some months during which they were missing, and now they make my breakfasts joyful again.

Yesterday night we went out with Massimo (Gelatomio), Debbie (his girlfriend), then we knew Roberto and Mary, who live in the condo nearby ours. We went to play pool, but all the tables were taken. There was a rule according to which you can challenge the people having the table, and if you win you can play. Luckily, after our first defeat, the guys decided to move away, so we could play.

In these days the Formula 1 fever is growing, in fact in the town centre the various places have a car to expose: of course in the Petronas Twin Towers there’s the BMW, then Rum Jungle has a Ferrari and Aloha has a McLaren. If I can tonight I will get some pictures.

Matter of few days, we should finish all the preparation for our holiday in Boracay, Philippines, one week for the 1^st May; if you are curious and cannot resist to wait for the fotoalbums you can Google it and find some images, then you will start to hate us a bit…
