Ieri siamo andati all’Hard Rock Café, perché ultimamente non abbiamo partecipato molto alla night life, e sarebbe stata una buona occasione per introdurre mia sorella alla vodka. Ci siamo incontrati là con Yahya, che si sposa in due settimane e sicuramente ha bisogno di alcool, e poi c’erano Shirlene e Tony. Ed eccomi là, non vedevo l’ora di insegnare un paio di cose a mia sorella sui locali notturni, quando l’inserviente all’entrata mi ha chiesto la carta d’identità, per assicurarsi che avessi almeno 21 anni, bah!

Comunque, dopo un paio di minuti con Massimo spiegando che in realtà sono un’adulta e non una giovanotta delinquente, siamo entrati. E ballato per tutto il tempo…

Inoltre, il terzo weekend di febbraio andremo a Miri a visitare Mae e Homer, per quattro giorni, durante il Capodanno Cinese. Non vedo l’ora di godermi sabbia, sole e mare! So cosa penserete: “Ma è appena tornata dalle vacanze!” Ma onestamente, dopo pochi giorni e molte riunioni qui a KL, sono impaziente per la prossima!

Yesterday we went to Hard Rock Café, since I realized we haven’t had a lot of nightlife lately, and it will be a good time to start introducing my younger sister to vodka. We joined there Yahya, who is getting married in two weeks and for sure would need some alcohol for that, and then Shirlene and Tony. And so there I was, quite excited to teach my sister a thing or two about clubbing, when the entrance staff asked for my ID, to ensure that I was at least above twenty-one, bah!

Anyway, after a couple of minutes with Massimo explaining that I am actually an adult and not a juvenile delinquent, we got in. And danced the night away…

On the other hand, come this third week of February, we will be going to Miri to visit Mae and Homer, for four days, during the Chinese New Year. Can’t wait for some of that sun, sea and sand! I know you must be thinking: “But she just got back from a holiday!” But honestly, a few days after being here in KL and many meetings later, I can’t wait for the next one!
