Oggi mi hanno tolto un dente del giudizio. L’operazione è stata indolore, non mi sono neanche accorta che la dottoressa mi aveva tolto il dente. A questo punto ho alzato le antenne, chissà che la dottoressa non iniziasse a togliermi tutti i denti colta da “furia estrattiva”, e magari me ne sarei accorta solo una volta a casa. Invece è stata brava, mi ha lasciato andare dopo avermi tolto il dente, e mi ha dato una garza da mordere, antidolorifici, e mi ha mandata a casa. Subito ho pensato di prendere il taxi, ma col tampone in bocca non potevo parlare bene, e quindi ho preso il treno per evitare discussioni di qualsiasi tipo. Arrivata a casa ho aspettato un’ora prima di pranzare con il pasticcio. Dopo un po’ mi sono sentita assonnata e mi sono messa a dormire, Un’ora dopo mi sentivo fredda, e pensavo di avere la febbre così mi sono messa una felpa invernale e due lenzuola spesse! I brividi se ne sono andati ed ora mi sento molto meglio , anche se sono ancora un po’ debole e febbricitante. Giusto ora, sto aspettando il mio amore perché prepari la cena!

Today I had my wisdom tooth pulled. The operation itself was painless, I didn’t even notice that the dentist had already pulled my tooth. At this point, I became extra watchful, who knows if the dentist suddenly had a tooth-pulling spree, and I wouldn’t even know until all my teeth were gone. But, she was good, and let me go after pulling the one tooth, and just gave me some gauze to bite, painkillers, and then bade me home. I thought at first of taking the taxi to go home, but with the gauze inside my mouth, I couldn’t speak properly, so to avoid any lengthy, unintelligible discussions of my home address with the taxi driver, I decided to take the train. I arrived home promptly, then waited an hour so I can eat my lunch of lasagna. After a while I was feeling sleepy, and so went to bed. An hour later, I was feeling very chilly and thought I had fever, and so I wore my winter jacket and covered myself with a couple of two thick blankets! Luckily enough, the chill disappeared after a while and now I feel much better but feeling a little bit weak and feverish. Right now, I am just waiting for my amore to prepare the dinner!
