Parlando del viaggio in USA questo viaggio, devo ancora fare parecchie cose. Devo prenotare l’hotel e il volo, e soprattutto fare la richiesta per il visto. Sarei felice di andare, perché incontrerei alcuni dei miei colleghi, i petrofisici Mukarram da Copenhagen e Kjetil dalla Norvegia. Kjetil è norvegese e quindi non ha bisogno del visto, ma Mukarram (Pachistano) probabilmente dovrà tagliarsi la folta barba prima che il nostro illustre Zio Bush lo lasci entrare. Vediamo nelle prossime tre settimane…
Un’altra cosa che vorrei dire è che il mio capo mi ha chiesto cosa voglio fare da grande, ummm voglio veramente essere il “Gran Maestro dei Petrofisici”, o voglio essere la “Signora delle Vendite e del Dare Ordini”? Onestamente, è una domanda difficile a cui devo rispondere ora, perché dovrò ricevere l’addestramento per diventare… “Gran Maestro dei Petrofisici” o “Signora delle Vendite e del Dare Ordini”. Ma suppongo che ci possa pensare domani, per ora vado a dormire.
Speaking of this trip to the US, I still quite have a lot of things to do. I would still need to book my hotels and flights, and most important of course is to apply for that US visa. I would be happy to go because I will be meeting some of my brothers in faith, petrophysicists Mukarram coming from Copenhagen, and Kjetil from Norway. Kjetil is Norwegian so he doesn’t need visa, but Mukarram (he comes from Pakistan) probably needs to shave off his beard before our great Uncle Bush lets him in. Lets see in three weeks time…
Another thing that I would like to say is that my manager asked me what I wanted to be when I grow up, ummm do I really want to be the Rock Physicist Master, or do I want to be the Lord of the Sales and Giving Orders? Honestly, it is a tough question that I needed to answer now, because I am supposed to get the training that will make me ..the Rock Physicist Master or the Lord of the Sales and Giving Orders. But I guess we can think of that tomorrow, for now I go to sleep.
