In questi giorni è calma piatta, non succede nulla al di fuori della solita routine. In questo momento fuori c’è il temporale che vedete nella foto, sembra che mi stiano esplodendo dei petardi in casa, da quanto forti sono i tuoni, e dalla strada arrivano gli allarmi delle auto. Magari un giorno ne farò un video così avrete idea di cosa sia il temporale qui nel sud-est asiatico (e a Kuala Lumpur non siamo messi male…).

Invece qualche giorno fa abbiamo iniziato a vedere i DVD prestatici da Richard con gli episodi di una sit-com inglese di grande successo, The Office, dalla quale è stata tratta la versione americana. Sono veramente esilaranti, humour inglese allo stato puro, consiglio caldamente chi sa la lingua di scovarne qualche episodio perché ne vale la pena. I personaggi principali sono quelli della figura in basso, e le loro gag, girate a mo’ di documentario, sfiorano l’inverosimile. L’ideale per serate burrascose come questa…

These days are totally smooth, there’s nothing different from the usual routine. In this moment outside there’s the storm you see in the picture, the thunders violence feels like someone is exploding fireworks in my apartment, and from the street the cars alarms are coming up here. Maybe one day I will take a video so you will realise what a South-east Asian storm is (and here in KL is not the worst…).

Some days ago instead we started to watch the DVDs we borrowed from Richard with the episodes of a British very successful sit-com , The Office, from which they took the inspiration for the American series. They are really funny, 100% English humour, I suggest to all of you who understand English to find out some episodes, because it’s worth. The main characters are the ones in the figure down here, and their gags, filmed like a documentary, are cock-and-bull. The ideal for storm nights like this…
