Cinque giorni sono già passati, stasera Lucio, Manuel e Riccardo partono per Sydney. Ieri abbiamo passato il pomeriggio in piscina, poiché tutti e tre non potevano muoversi a causa dei problemi intestinali che colpiscono molti viaggiatori (anche perché la cena al Revolving Restaurant è stata mostruosamente abbondante), e la sera li abbiamo portati a cena al Luna bar, di cui vi ho parlato qualche mese fa. Come previsto sono rimasti stupefatti dal posto, perciò ci siamo goduti la cena. Dopo siamo andati a Heritage Row, una via con edifici in stile coloniale che brulica di ristoranti, bar e discoteche. Il locale dove siamo andati si chiamava The Loft, e fuori era pieno di macchine sportive (vedrete le foto sui post loro dedicati), e tutti erano vestiti in modo elegante. Il trio è rimasto a bocca aperta nel vedere la quantità di belle ragazze che c’era, direi che il posto ricordava le atmosfere dei locali in CSI: Miami… Quando ci siamo stancati ci siamo messi alla ricerca dei taxi per tornare a casa, e ormai sapete cosa vuol dire trovare un taxi qui di notte: stranamente, il primo che si è fermato non ha tentato di imbrogliarci, e quindi sono rimasto con Manuel ad aspettarne un secondo. Nel taxi successivo c’era un altro un uomo assieme al conducente, e dalla loro risposta ho sentito che erano ubriachi fradici, e avevano lattine di birra fra le gambe, per cui abbiamo declinato, e dopo 5 minuti abbiamo trovato un passaggio come si deve. Oggi i ragazzi si sono dedicati agli ultimi acquisti a Chinatown ed a preparare i bagagli.

Mi dispiace che se ne vadano di già, perché passare un po’ di tempo con dei vecchi amici era qualcosa che desideravo da tempo, ma non posso fare altro che augurare loro buona fortuna, ed aspettare il nostro prossimo incontro, che probabilmente sarà qui o in Australia, lo scoprirete leggendo i prossimi post nei nostri blog…

Five days have already gone, this eve Lucio, Manuel and Riccardo will take off to Sydney. Yesterday we spent the afternoon at the swimming pool, because of their stomach problems, which affect many travellers (and because the dinner at the Revolving Restaurant was hugely abundant), and the evening we took them to dinner at the Luna bar, which I told you about few months ago. They got amazed of the place as expected, so we enjoyed the dinner. After that we went to Heritage Row, a street with colonial style buildings full of restaurants, bar s and clubs. The place we went was The Loft, and outside it was full of sport cars (which you’ll see in their dedicated posts), and everybody was well dressed. The trio was amazed by the amount of beautiful girls inside, I would say that the atmosphere was the one typical of the places in CSI: Miami… When we got tired we started to look for taxies, and you actually know how hard is to find a taxi by night here: strangely, the first one who stopped didn’t try to cheat us, so I stayed with Manuel to wait for another one. In the next taxi there was another guy with the driver, and from their answer I heard that they were totally drunk, and they had beer cans on the seats, so we declined the ride and after five minutes we caught a proper one. Today the guys dedicated these last hours for the last shopping in Chinatown and to pack up their baggage.

I am sorry that they are going already, because spending some time with old friends was something I was looking for since long time ago, but all I can do is to wish them good luck and wait for the next meeting, which probably will be here or in Sydney, you will discover it reading our blogs…
