Stamattina sono riuscito a prendere il treno un quarto d’ora prima di ieri, onde evitare code selvagge, e chi ti incontro? L’ometto di ieri che voleva a tutti i costi salire sul treno! Stessa camicia, stesso zainetto da scolaretto 50enne. Guardacaso è salito proprio dove mi trovavo io, a pochi centimetri da me, ma per fortuna non ha guardato in alto e non mi ha visto (mi sento un gigante oggi).

Ho aggiunto nella sidebar il link di un blog tenuto da un ragazzo 26enne inglese, Dave Cornthwaite, che qualche giorno fa ha iniziato la traversata dell’Australia in skateboard per beneficenza. Nel suo blog, tra i link, c’è anche quello del sito ufficiale dell’impresa, dove tra le altre cose ci sono foto e video. Ecco, mi sembrava interessante parlarne, tutto qui.

Anche perché il filo diretto con l’Australia fra un po’ diventerà stabile, visto che a fine Settembre Lucio, Manuel e Riccardo (amici del mio paese) atterreranno a Sydney per iniziare un’avventura intercontinentale (durata minima 1 anno, poi si vedrà…), e faranno scalo qui cinque giorni, così potrò rivedere dei vecchi amici e farmi portare delle prelibatezze made in Italy!

This morning I managed to catch the train some ten minutes earlier than yesterday, in order to avoid wild cues, and who did I meet? The small man who yesterday wanted to com on the train at all costs! Same shirt, same schoolboy backpack. Coincidently he came on exactly where I was standing, few centimetres far from me, but luckily he didn’t look up so he didn’t recognize me (I feel a giant today).

I added to the sidebar the link to a blog managed by a 26 years old English guy, Dave Cornthwaite, who few days ago started a crossing of Australia in skateboard for beneficence purpose. In his blog, in the links, there’s also the one to the official website for this expedition, where among all the stuff, there is also a section with pics and videos. Here it is, it looked interesting to me to spend a mention about it, that’s all.

Also because the direct line with Australia will become stable in some time, since in the end of September Lucio, Manuel and Riccardo (friends from my hometown) will land in Sydney for starting an intercontinental adventure (one year long at least, then who knows…), and they will make a five days stop here in KL, so I will have the chance to see again some old friends and get some delicacies made in Italy!
